The Truth
Since the beginning of Christianity, it has been known that the religion, especially its origin, contains many elements of pre-Christian pagan religions. Unfortunately, this knowledge has been kept secret from the Common Christian and known only to high-ranking church officials since at least the mid-4th century CE. Then the propaganda machine began working and has kept up ever since. The results were that the pagan elements were erased, altered, and covered up to give Christianity the appearance of a unique, divinely-inspired religion centering around a man believed to be the Son of God himself. To this day, millions of Christians believe that the Bible story is true exactly as written and cannot, should not, be questioned. In reality, this is the result of thousands of years of propaganda being spoon-fed to the world.
I know right now you're probably thinking, this girl's nuts! How could anyone believe such utter nonsense! It doesn't make any sense! Or else you want to tear my heart out for insulting you so terribly. But nevertheless, it is the truth. And the proof? It's been right in front of everyone the whole time. The proof is in the Bible for those who read it with a logical, examining eye. The main reason why the secrets that follow were never known by the common Christians is because until the 16th century, the Bible was only available in Latin. Therefore, one had to be able to read Latin to read the Bible and no common person knew a speck of Latin. Only church officials could learn it. It wasn't until the Protestant Reformation when common people demanded the Bible be translated into common languages that it was done. And before the translated copies were released, they were altered severely by church officials. Of course, the commoners had no idea of this.
Even so, most of the many contradictions in the Bible, which have caused confusions, questions, and embarrasments for hundreds of years, can only be resolved when the Bible stores are placed in a pagan context. Most of the quotes and rituals now part of the religion and thought to be inventions of Jesus, are nothing more than copies from the Egyptian mysteries, most notably the Egyptian "Book of the Dead," their version of a Holy Book, and the cult of Isis. The Book of the Dead was a book that contained spells and prayers that one could use to protect themselves in the afterlife and was read to the dying. Isis was the Egyptian Mother Goddess, the Creator of all Time. Her husband was Osiris and their son was Horus. Their cult was worshipped all over the ancient world in many different forms.
If you want the whole story, read this book: The Templar Revelation by Lynn Picknett and Clive Prince. It is the best book you can ever buy and reveals the proof for all I have said and much more. On this page, I will mention the particular points of interest that link Jesus and Christianity to pagan mysteries. As J. M. Robertson says in his book Pagan Christs, "There is not a conception associated with Christ that is not common to some or all of the Savior cults of antiquity" (pg 52).
December 25th is an important pagan date. It marks the beginning of the annual increase of sunlight, 3 days after the sun "died" on the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year. For this reason, there are a whole host of Sun Gods that were said to have been born on this day such as Horus, son of Osiris and Isis, the Greek Dionysus, and many others.
It was common among pagan religions for goddesses to be called Virgin Goddesses. It was also common for their godly children to be born in caves, stables, and mangers, for these are all symbols of the mother's womb. Horus was a god born this way, as was Dionysus.
The word "Christ" is actually not a specific term relating to Jesus but a very general one. It comes from the Greek "Christos" which means "Anointed One" and refers to anyone who has been anointed with holy oils or water in a religious ceremony. Therefore, anyone on the planet that has been baptized could be called a Christ.
Many of the titles used to describe Jesus such as "the Good Shepard," "Savior of Mankind," and others were titles used on many other gods before him, including Isis herself.
There were a whole host of crucified-and-resurrected gods in the ancient world. Krishna, an Indian diety, was in fact crucified on a cross. And it is believed that Jesus might have visited India sometime during his ministry. Osiris was crucified on a Friday, but by being cut in many pieces which were scattered throughout the world and reassembled by Isis. Other such gods include Dionysus, Adonis, Attis, and Mithra. Mithra in fact was resurrected from a rock-tomb. In almost all of these cases, the god was dead for 3 days before being resurrected.
When Isis found out that her husband had been killed, she said "Evil men have killed my beloved, and where his body is I know not." Compare these to the words of Mary Magdelene upon her discovery of Jesus' empty tomb: "They have taken my Lord and I know not where they have lain him" (My Lord incidently was a term used by a wife to describe her husband in that culture). There are other similarities between Isis and Mary Magdelene that have lead researchers to the conclusion that she played a much more significant role than history has allowed her. If Jesus truly was an intiate of Egyptian mysteries representing Osiris, then she surely was Isis and therefore Jesus' consort.
In the Jewish world, celibacy was not only an unknown concept, it was a sin and against the law! Any Jew who refused to get married and have children was defying Yahweh's command to "be fruitful and multiply" and was therefore a criminal.
Baptism, confession of sins, and the sacrement (eating of bread and drinking of wine) were all unknown concepts in the religion of Judaism and have been taken as proof of Christianity's uniqueness. However, all of these rituals were part of the Isis-Osiris Cult for a thousand years before Jesus "invented" them.
It has been shown to be very likely that Jesus grew up with the knowledge of Egyptian magic because after his family fled to Egypt to escape Herod there is no mention whatsoever of any of Jesus' life until he began his ministry at age 30, except for one reference to him at age 12 which has been proven to be a forgery added into the Bible centuries after its construction. Therefore, it becomes likely that his family stayed in Egypt for a long time.
The city of Galilee where Jesus began his ministry was never the strong Jewish community it has been portrayed to be. It was in fact part of a major trade route that connected it to the rest of the world. Many different religions from all over were represented there including Egyptian, Greek, and many other Middle Eastern pagan religions. If Jesus didn't grow up in Egypt and instead grew up here, it is still proven to be likely that he had been exposed to Egyptian and other pagan religions very early on.
Will add more as I do more research....
