Scotland and England

For the Scotland/England trip, we landed in Glasgow and went through Edinburgh, York, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Cheddar Gorge, Midsummer Norton, and Bath before finally ending up at London, where we flew out of. The whole trip was two weeks. My favorite part of the trip was when we were going through Devonshire, we stopped at Chatsworth, ancestral home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The current Duke and Duchess still live there, but their home and 100 acres of gardens are open to public tours. That's right, 100 acres of gardens. Talk about died and gone to heaven. There were huge fountains, exotic trees and plants from all over, and even a hedge maze!

Cool, huh!?

This is the stair-like waterfall at Chatsworth Gardens, the 101 acre garden belonging to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire.

I need to get more of my Scotland/England trip pics scanned. As soon as I do, I'll put them in here. =)

That was refreshing!

This is the iron fountain shaped like a young willow tree in Chatsworth Gardens. I couldn't resist getting soaked (it was like 90 degrees) and convincing some hapless stranger to take a picture of me under it.
