For the Scotland/England trip, we landed in Glasgow and went through Edinburgh, York, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Cheddar Gorge, Midsummer Norton, and Bath before finally ending up at London, where we flew out of. The whole trip was two weeks. My favorite part of the trip was when we were going through Devonshire, we stopped at Chatsworth, ancestral home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The current Duke and Duchess still live there, but their home and 100 acres of gardens are open to public tours. That's right, 100 acres of gardens. Talk about died and gone to heaven. There were huge fountains, exotic trees and plants from all over, and even a hedge maze! last updated 11/03/02 |
